The Catholic Children's Society helps children, young people and families of all backgrounds.

The Catholic Children's Society is a charity. That means that we're not like a company which needs to make a profit in order to survive.

Instead, we need to ask people like you for donations in order to enable us to continue our work!

Most charities have a mission statement which is a way of explaining in a few simple words what the charity does and why. Recently we asked some children to help write a mission statement for us. Here it is:

"The Catholic Children's Society will help make children and young people's lives better.

We will help to keep children safe and to stay with their own families where they can.

Where children have no-one to care for them, we will help to find a home and a loving family."
